Learn the layer of AI relevant to your work, not all of it. A realtor doesn't need to code; they need to know how AI is reshaping lead generation, listing descriptions, and client screening. Go deep on your lane.

Treat AI literacy like a core skill, not a side project. Block time weekly, even 30 minutes, to test tools relevant to your field. Consistency beats intensity here.

Get visible as the "AI-forward" person in your field. Whether it's your congregation, your dealership, your brokerage, or your engineering team, being the one who understands what's coming makes you indispensable, not expendable.

Move fast, not perfectly. The people getting hurt by this shift aren't the ones learning slowly; they're the ones not starting. Waiting for the "right time" to learn AI is how good, capable professionals get blindsided.
